Have I mentioned how exhausted we are? Grand Central Terminal, the Chrysler Building, Greenwich Village, and street art close out our last day in NYC. For the record: I love New Yorkers.
I’m sorry about the lack of pictures with this post. I’m having technical issues and the photos aren’t downloading from my phone. There will be one final post when we make it back to the Midwest.
Our most leisurely day of all but also, the reason we came: Baking Day!
We moseyed to the NYSE,
stumbled upon Nanny Bloomberg on the way,
stood where President George Washington took his oath of office,
Tiffany & Co. customer service was terrible, and amazing NYC diner food is amazing.
I can’t stress how sweet and fun Jedediah Bila is to hang with. And her dog, Emma, adores me. Bonus!

Today was a fun day. We were up early- 5:30ish- but lazed around for a bit. We hit 5th Avenue, wandered through FAO Schwartz, and I went to my favorite store of all: Louis Vuitton. We spent late afternoon at Fox Studios with Jedediah Bila while she taped segments with Neil Cavuto.
Bill Schulz joined us for a short time in the green room, and yes, he is completely nuts! It is not an act for t.v.
I was invited to sit in on Jedediah’s second segment with Cavuto, stood where Red Eye is taped, and made myself at home with the infamous Curvy Couch. Neil Cavuto is a nice guy and Megyn Kelly is an adorable pregnant woman. Poor Jennie’s feet hate her and my legs are about to detach from my body and beat me for the abuse inflicted on them!
Tomorrow we bake!
Jen and I made it safely to NYC and maneuvered the Bronx at 4:30 in the morning. Exhausted and delirious, we are resting after and eventful 24 hours.
